Based in Philadelphia, woodworker and artist Ashley Martin crafts contemporary home goods–such as vessels, lighting, furniture, and sculptural objects. His unique process utilizes a combination of modern woodworking and traditional hand carving, which create subtle textures providing a distinct handmade quality in each piece. Integrating sculpture and function, his designs invoke both natural and architectural forms.
